Early Discoveries Nursery School [EDNS], established in 1983, takes pride in developing the "whole child" to build a solid base for future learning. To accomplish this growth, teachers of three and four-year old students at EDNS will concentrate on the following four main developmental skills:
- Social and emotional growth
- Intellectual development
- Fine motor skill development
- Gross motor skill development

This solid educational foundation will encourage your child to be all that he or she can be and more! They will leave EDNS with a joy of learning and a general quest for knowledge.
Each EDNS class has a teacher and teacher aide. Both staff members possess a genuine love of children. Fully qualified teachers will take your child through exciting educational experiences.
All classes are two and a half hours in length to allow time for your child to circulate through the various centers available in the class. Our program includes a media center, a video book library, and a computer center. Interacting in such subjects as music, science, creative movement and dance will make the "whole child" feel good about themselves and their own abilities.
Arts and crafts, dramatic expression, physical education, reading and math readiness, and stories round out the remainder of our syllabus. All this will be done daily in a setting mixed with child directed and teacher directed activities.
We also have a FULLY FUNDED Kindergarten Program - Early Discoveries Childhood Services.
